All the information on all the pages is well-structured, has excellent supporting images, and is surrounded by good web design (suitable color, readable fonts, plenty of whitespaces, good visual hierarchy, etc.).
Rondriso Farms is a beloved family-owned and operated farm in British Columbia. They offer various farm-fresh products, including seasonal fruits and vegetables, natural beef, and free-range eggs.
The website is very simple-yet-adequate and, therefore, effective. (Nobody expects a farmer to have a fancy, aesthetically modern site with animations, visual interactions, and whatnot).
They have separate pages for each of their main produce; there’s an Hours page with information about when you can visit the farm; and a Contact page with location and contact info.
I especially love their homepage. The smiling photo of the family behind the farm and an inviting short bio gives a great first impression.
Great Lakes Farm is nestled in the picturesque landscapes of Ontario. This captivating family farm is renowned for its wide variety of fruits, including apples and peaches. They also boast a bakery and a rustic café for visitors to indulge in.
Their website showcases the diverse range of activities available, such as fruit picking, delightful baking experiences, a fun farm with playsets, and a challenging corn maze. It’s all accompanied by stunning imagery that reflects their warm hospitality.
The site embraces a color palette that reflects their produce — the primary color is green for obvious reasons, and the heading color is dark pink/red-ish, which resembles their main products - Apples, Peaches, and Strawberries.
Beeworthy Farms is a floral paradise in California. They sustainably cultivate vibrant flowers and fragrant herbs, tended by farmers who deeply cherish the land, the local ecosystem, their customers, and the bees. This women-owned farm not only nurtures beautiful blooms but also supports bee populations.
One thing they can improve is make the logo height smaller. When you scroll from bottom to top, the header is fixed at the top, and its height is nearly 200px because of the big logo; this covers a lot of space on a typical 600-something px height laptop window.
Ayres Vineyard, located in Oregon, is a captivating destination for wine enthusiasts. This family-owned winery produces exceptional wines with a focus on sustainable practices and showcasing the terroir of the region. Their vineyard has 36,000 vines, growing about 18 acres of Pinot Noir.

Their homepage has brief info sections about their selection of wines, their winemaker, the vineyard, and the winery, with relevant CTAs to explore each aspect further. For example, their Wines page eventually leads to beautiful product pages like this:
Jack Neubauer and Megan Neubauer, a father-daughter duo, left corporate life and started farming in 2012. Pure Land Farm is their 28-acre organic farm in Texas, where they grow fruits and vegetables. You can book field trips to this farm and pick your own vegetables!
This website has some forgivable web design errors, like its multiple-line, confusing navigation menu, because it’s otherwise excellent. The delightful pictures and its simplistic web design make it a great inspiration for some essential elements of your farm website.
The first thing you’ll notice is a nice graph of their main products and when they would be available — that’s central information, beautifully and concisely put.
The homepage also includes a subscription form for their picking list. You can also book the field trip by clicking relevant CTAs on the homepage. Another thing I love on the website homepage is the Instagram embed that showcases the last six photos from the farm’s Instagram feed, which are usually of the colorful produce or the farmers/guests.
All in all, the main call-to-actions are on the homepage. And the supplementary pages are there to give further information or take you down the “lead funnel,” if you’d like to call it one.
Side Note: The CTAs to book a field trip were on the site a couple of months ago (when I first came across the site during my research). Now, there’s a message that reads “THE 2023 SEASON IS OVER, WE ARE CLOSED!” This shows they regularly update the website, which you, too, should do after you make one!
Magicland Farms is a family-owned roadside farm market in Michigan. With an impressive array of fruits and vegetables grown right on the premises, their open-air roadside stand is a treasure trove for locals and visitors alike.
Their website gracefully narrates their wholesome story and showcases their diverse product offerings. Adorned with amateur-clicked (captivating nonetheless) imagery, an earthy color palette, and a legible font, it creates a good online experience.
They also sell farm produce through an online store on the website, but it’s probably a second thought, considering how underwhelming the ecommerce experience is.
Waiakoa Wildflowers is a small-scale organic farm and floral design studio based in Kula, Hawaii. Run by sisters Zena and Tessa, they emphasize seasonality by using locally grown and foraged flowers to create fresh and innovative foam-free arrangements.
This website is beautiful, but it’s more like a florist/flower shop website than a farm website. The website has beautiful (and so many!) photos of the flowers, the people there, and people using the flowers for bouquets, weddings, and more.
